County of Jaffrey issued the following announcement on April 8.

PUBLIC NOTICE – HYDRANT FLUSHING

April 14, 2022 through last week of June 2022

Water Department personnel will be flushing fire hydrants in Jaffrey and the sections of Rindge served by the Jaffrey Water Department beginning April 14, 2022 through the last week of June 2022.   Flushing will be completed during daytime hours.  This work may create reductions in water pressure in some areas of town for short periods of time and may also result in discolored water.  As a result, residents are advised to refrain from doing laundry until the water clears up. Your patience and cooperation regarding this is appreciated.  This necessary flushing cleans out our piping network.
