Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

This Veteran’s Day the Keene Family YMCA will be honoring those who served with a dedication ceremony for the new flagpole that has been installed at the facility entrance. The event will kickoff with the raising of the flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem by KHS Sophomore Ella Hoy and “Lift Every Voice” by Kaylah Curry, first year student, and Pierre Morton, Chief Diversity Officer at Franklin Pierce College. The event will conclude with a dedication address by Keene Family YMCA Board Chair, Dave Therrien. This event is free and open to the public, and has been sponsored in part by Jake’s 5 Star Convenience and Deli. And as a token of our gratitude, we’re offering veterans free admission to the Keene Family YMCA for the entire week – from November 7-13, 2021. Thank you for your service!
