About Elm City Compost

Elm City Compost Initiative was started during the summer of 2018. Co-founders Albert Diemand and Kira Wadsworth brought the first business of this kind to the city of Keene. ECCI is a small, grassroots company with a mission to collect & divert all food & organic waste from businesses & residents to create a more sustainable city. They serve almost 200 residential customers and 14 Keene Area businesses.
They currently have three residential services, weekly curbside pick-up, bi-weekly curbside pick-up, & remote-drop off. Around 70 of their customers use the remote drop-off option & the rest use either the weekly or bi-weekly curbside pick-up.
