Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Join Harris Center naturalists Phil Brown and Karen Rent for an evening wander along the fields behind the YMCA in Keene. The spring sunset and (almost) full moon will set the stage as we search for American Woodcock in hopes of witnessing their spring dance, and learn to identify the calls of chorusing amphibians. The springtime symphony is always a feast for the senses! Dress for the weather, and be prepared for walking on wet, muddy ground.

7 to 8:30 p.m. at the YMCA in Keene. Exact meeting location will be provided upon registration. Space is limited, and registration is required. For general information about Harris Center field trips, including questions about accessibility, see our Outings Information page. For questions about this particular outing, please contact Karen.
