A drive-through holiday light display in Winchester, NH.

Winchester, N.H. (December 14, 2022) — Draft Gratitude invites you to drive through their holiday light display located at 148 Ashuelot Street, Winchester, NH.  The “Holiday Hoof” is open from 5pm-8pm starting December 16, 2022 and open each evening through December 24, 2022.

The “Holiday Hoof” is open to everyone, no tickets are required.  A suggested donation of $20 per car will raise money to keep senior working horses safe and comfortable during our coldest winter months.

“Come get in the spirit with us!  Once again, we are decking our halls, and barns, and fences, and even the horses get in on it!” says Rebecca Roy, founder of Draft Gratitude.  The money raised is used for hay, grain, veterinary care, hoof care, and pain medicine for senior working horses.

Draft Gratitude offers a second chance and a place to call home to unwanted draft horses.  These horses have worked their whole lives.  They are replaced with younger horses once they can no longer keep up with the workload.  They are treasures that deserve to have a safe and comfortable retirement.

Draft Gratitude, established in 2014, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of unwanted draft horses. Once rescued, the draft horses are rehabilitated and will either be available for adoption or stay in sanctuary at the 23-acre farm.
