Keene Public Library recently issued the following announcement.

Mastering sight words is a significant aspect of literacy development. Bring your beginning readers to practice sight word recognition on the first Wednesday of the month and win some fun prizes! This program is best for ages 4-7 or any child who can recognize basic sight words such as “the,” “cat,” “apple,” “and,” etc.
