What IS a Sock Hop? A sock hop or sox hop, is a dance party from the 50s and 60s (Think of the movie ‘Grease’). Wondering how to dress for a sock hop? Women usually wore poodle skirts or pedal pushers, and blouses with chiffon neck scarves, bobby socks, and saddle shoes while Men’s outfits ranged from plaid or bowling shirts with khakis, to white t-shifts with rolled up sleeves & black leather jackets, with penny loafers or black sneakers. Of course, any clothing is appropriate so just come out and have some FUN! Our sock hop will feature DJ Lambert, dancing, 50/50 Raffle, photo op props, and food & refreshments available for purchase. So, Come to the Hop FUNdraiser and help the JWC purchase an AED!
