Marlborough, NH Police Department issued the following announcement on July 18.
Important update regarding town and state roads as of 06:40 AM on Sunday July 18th.
NH Department of Transportation has closed NH Route 124 from NH Route 101 to Troy Road for a compromised roadway near the town Highway Garage. Local residents who live in the area may access their properties from the applicable side. Please use caution.
From the Marlborough Director of Public Works:
Road conditions in town are still being evaluated and crews are asking residents to stay home if possible due to unknown road conditions (washouts and sinkholes). Current issues have been identified on Frost Hill Road and School Street.
If you observe any flooding, washouts, or downed trees or power lines please call Cheshire County Dispatch at 603-355-2000. Do not touch downed lines or cross flooded roadways.
