Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on August 26.
Peterborough, NH- On Saturday September 25th, Scott-Farrar at Peterborough will be hosting a yard sale fundraiser to benefit the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Residents and staff have donated items for the yard sale with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association. The event will take place from 9 AM to 2 PM in Scott-Farrar’s side parking lot off Elm Street.
Items featured at the yard sale will include furniture, bureaus, cookware, outdoor gear, sporting goods, art, and seasonal items. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Western NH Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
Earlier this Summer, as part of their fundraising efforts, Scott-Farrar teamed up with Cub Scout Troop #33 for a carwash to raise money for the Scott-Farrar Memory Makers team. The Scott-Farrar Memory Makers will be walking in the Western NH Walk to End Alzheimer’s on October 2nd in Keene.
“This will be our 3rd consecutive year hosting a yard sale to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and the great work that they do. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is a cause that is very important to the Scott-Farrar Community. We hope for a great turnout!” shares Toby Cummings, Sales & Community Relations Director at Scott-Farrar.
