Cheshire Medical Center recently issued the following announcement.

Movement is essential to a healthy pregnancy and empowered birth. This early pregnancy class will prepare expectant parents for both.

During this early pregnancy class, expectant parents will spend 1.5 hours with Farnum Rehabilitation physical therapists learning exercises that are beneficial for pregnant bodies and growing babies. Participants will learn how to monitor themselves for safety with exercise, and pregnancy specific core and pelvic floor strengthening. This class is beneficial for those new to exercise as well as experienced with fitness!

Classes are currently being held online, with Zoom. Participants will be contacted with class information and a Zoom link before the class date. If you have any questions, please contact Janet Chamberlin at jchamberlin@cheshire-med.com.
