County of Jaffrey issued the following announcement on September 17.
Jaffrey Water Boil Order Lifted Press Release
The September 14, 2021 Jaffrey Water System “High Side” Boil Order has been lifted and the boiling of drinking water for consumption is no longer required.Two rounds of repeat bacteria sampling throughout the entire Jaffrey Water System, including directly from all source water wells, were analyzed by a certified laboratory. These samples were taken on September 14, 2021 and September 16, 2021. All samples tested showed non-detect levels for both Total Coliform and E. coli Bacteria.
