Town of Swanzey issued the following announcement on November 4.
The Town of Swanzey will be hosting an opportunity for members of the public to meet the Town’s new Police Chief, Joseph Gonsalves. The event will be in conjunction with the Town’s American Legion Post’s Veterans’ Day ceremony on Thursday November 11th. The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the monument in front of the West Swanzey Community Church on Main Street. After the Veterans’ Day ceremony, the event will move to Whitcomb Hall, 17 Main Street, for a light lunch, refreshments, and a meet and greet with Chief Gonsalves. Refreshments will be funded by the Town of Swanzey and prepared by the West Swanzey Community Church. All members of the community are welcome to attend.
