Town of Rindge issued the following announcement on January 13.
The Town of Rindge will observe the following holidays in 2022.
New Year’s Day December 31, 2021
Civil Rights Day/MLK Day January 17, 2022
Presidents’ Day February 21, 2022
Memorial Day May 30, 2022
Independence Day July 4, 2022
Labor Day September 5, 2022
Columbus Day October 10, 2022
Veterans’ Day November 11, 2022
Thanksgiving Day November 24, 2022
Day After Thanksgiving November 25, 2022
Christmas Day December 26, 2022
The list of paid holidays does not include the newest declared National holiday. If any employee chooses to take June 19th, “Juneteenth-National Independence Day,” in lieu of another paid holiday; they can notify their supervisor prior to January 15th of their choice.
(The future dates of holidays are dependent upon the day of the week upon which the holiday falls. Saturday holidays will be celebrated on the prior Friday and Sunday holidays will be celebrated on the following Monday.)
