Legend says the Nian monster comes out the night before every Lunar New Year to scare villagers and devour their food. Join us for a read-aloud then learn how to turn ordinary household items into festive rattle drums that you can use to scare away the Nian monster until next year.
All programs at Keene Public Library are provided by the Friends of the Keene Public Library. Programs are free and open to the public. Keene Public Library is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive experience for all of our visitors. A hearing assistance system will be available.
