5:00 pm to 6:30 pm
Join us monthly for social connection and education around the bariatric lifestyle.
Attendance through support groups are well known to help patients achieve long term success with their bariatric lifestyle. Our groups are designed to provide insightful, relevant education and instruction on a well rounded foundation of knowledge and skills for long term success. Please join our social community where bariatric patients, friends and family can feel included, understood, and validated by others who have gone through the same experience. Many individuals avoid support groups worried they may be required to speak in front of an audience or share personal feelings. Participation is not mandatory. Together, we can make bariatric surgery the best decision you ever made!
Everything changes after bariatric surgery and for most patients, it’s not uncommon to feel frustration, regret, and anxiety as patients and their families struggle to adapt to the bariatric lifestyle. This group is designed for patients considering bariatric surgery or who are in within the first year of their surgery. This is an open format that allows the opportunity to share anxieties, answer questions, demystify the process for family and friends, provide reassurance and build confidence through a network of social support
Join us the 1st Wednesday of each month from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
