Keene Chautauqua Book Discussion: Up From Slavery by Booker T. Washington

Held at Horatio Colony House Musem.

Get ready for the Keene Chautauqua by examining the life of Booker T. Washington, a formerly enslaved person turned educator, as seen through the lens of his biography, selected by the Modern Library as one of the best nonfiction books of all time. 

Books are available for checkout from the Keene Public Library. The Horatio Colony House Museum is located at 199 Main Street. Please park at Saint Bernard's Church parking lot. 

The museum is not fully handicapped accessible. If you have special programming needs, please contact the library at 603-352-0157 to discuss possible accommodations.
