Town of Swanzey issued the following announcement.

In accordance with RSA 547:3-d II, the Swanzey Board of Selectmen shall hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Whitcomb Hall (17 Main Street, Swanzey, NH) and over Zoom using Meeting ID 235 370 4380 # regarding the proposed sale by the Town of the real estate donated to the Town for charitable purposes under the Will of Lucy J. W. Carpenter, including property located in Westmoreland shown on the Town of Westmoreland’s Tax Map as Map R5, Lot 13, and property in Swanzey located on Simeneau Lane, shown on the Swanzey Tax Map as Tax Map 34 , Lot 20-1, and known as the Carpenter Home.  The proposed sale of the real estate and use of the net sale proceeds for charitable purposes are described in a Petition for Cy Pres Relief filed by the Town in the 8th Circuit Court, Probate Division-Keene, docket # 313-2021-EQ-00433.
