Town of Swanzey: Rail Trail Advisory Committee Clean Up Events

Town of Swanzey issued the following announcement on April 4.

The Swanzey Rail Trail Advisory Committee is organizing some trail clean up events this year, starting this month! We have been working all winter on a plan to stay on top of the maintenance of the trails to avoid washouts and mud puddles etc that make it impassable. The first date will be in just a couple of weeks, Weds April 20, 8am to 12 pm and we’ll meet at Joslin Station Road and work south. More dates and deets TBA.

What is needed?

Garden Rakes

Backpack blowers

Earprotection (if using blowers)

Gloves

But most of all YOU are what we need!
