Census Bureau: 82 percent of people in Cheshire County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 76,042 citizens living in Cheshire County in 2019, 62,353 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 32,167 of those people were female and 30,186 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
